The poultry was with the orginal start to the farm. Our flock of geese has gone from two to four. We have 12 chickens running around the property taking care of grasshoppers and snakes. The two mules we got to help get our gear into areas the goats have to go plus they fit my husbands personality. Finally the pigs, we have Bart, our boar, who has produced 3 litters. The average size is 9 piglettes. We had two sows but an issue came up with one and she went to butcher. Our other sow is Pork Chop. She is an awesome Mom!!! Her litter of ten is for sale for weiner pigs or butcher pigs. If interested in the piglettes please contact us at goatherderswife@yahoo.com. We will have more litters though out the year.
