We started our farm four years ago with four goats, two geese and twelve chickens.
After a summer of gathering eggs and watching our goats grazing taking care of the weeds. We came to the realization we use to many chemicals in our life from food to poisoning weeds which in turn is poisoning us. We prompted the goats for weed control and have gotten Forest Service Contracts. The chickens free range all over our farm. I am proud to say we have few grasshoppers or snakes on our property. We expanded into pigs and minis due to my husbands insistance. He loves fresh pork, who doesn't, and hoping for a mini mule. We are also caregivers for MMJ due in large part to how much it has changed my husbands life but that is his story to tell not mine!
